Abby's love for movement began in the world of dance, where she dedicated a decade to competition and later, coaching. When she transitioned away from dance, yoga became her medium, allowing her to continue fostering her love for expressive athletic movement. She enjoyed a casual practice for 7 years, but in 2020, her love for yoga and dedication to the practice deepened profoundly.

In the summer of 2020, Abby began using yoga to rehabilitate serious injuries in the wake of an abusive relationship. Through the process, she found that the more consistent practice had a tremendously positive impact on her mental health as well. As a nearly life-long sufferer of depression, PTSD, and anxiety, the healing impact of yoga led her to develop a deep love for the practice and eventually, kindled a desire to share the therapeutic power of yoga with others.

Motivated by the desire to share the transformative power of yoga, Abby earned her RYT 200 Certification in the spring of 2022. She specializes in Vinyasa and Bhakti but also enjoys teaching Restorative yoga. Looking ahead, Abby aspires to collaborate with fellow yoga instructors and mental health professionals to craft workshops dedicated to assisting trauma survivors with PTSD, focusing on nervous system regulation, healthy coping strategies, self-acceptance, and self-love.
