Meet Chrissy
Chrissy is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, National Personal Training Institute of Oregon Graduate, and holds certifications in Sling and Kettlebell Training. A lifelong athlete, Chrissy is an avid equestrian, hiker and has a passion for helping her clients receive mental health improvements through the benefits of strength and cardio training. Having worked in social media for the past 7 years, as an advocate and performer, Chrissy is looking forward to using her communication skills and ability to connect with people in a new and more fulfilling way.
A Word from Chrissy
“I have struggled with PTSD for the past 10 years. Fitness has been a way for me to combat my mental illness and addiction issues and to help others cope with their own traumas or struggles in a healthy way. Nature, meditation and fitness have been the most therapeutic parts of my journey and my goal is to help you find the most therapeutic parts of yours. Helping others helps me, and for those of you out there who are fighting alone, I believe that uniting together and supporting one another as a unit makes us all stronger. I want to help individuals with mental health struggles as well as those with addiction, like myself, to not only find relief but to thrive through fitness. I try to live within the W.O.N.D.E.R model: Working Out Naturally Develops Emotional Response. This is a pivotal piece of achieving a better mindset and emotional wellness. While my passion is helping those who have had mental or sobriety struggles, I enthusiastically welcome anyone just looking for a supportive path to self-improvement, stronger physique and greater well being.”
