Romnick Dancel is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). He graduated from Portland State University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Studies. Additionally, Romnick served PSU’s collegiate teams as a strength and conditioning coach intern.
Romnick has worked with various age groups and populations ranging from athletes seeking to improve their performance in their respective sport to individuals who are taking the initiative to foster a healthier lifestyle. He believes that adopting a more holistic approach to training: considering your mindset, nutrition, movement, and recovery will help provide a sustainable, healthy lifestyle that meets your needs.
With a high value for developing thorough programming for each client, Romnick considers micro to macro effects of the program itself. By this he means, not only using a program to get clients to established “goals”, but ensuring that by the end of each week the body has been balanced in terms of planes of movement, muscle groups worked, and the overall functionality of the exercises.
